    The Bremen Aquatics Facility offers a safe, supervised and healthy environment for members of our community. Among it's many amenities are separated swimming pools for appropriate ages, in-pool fountains, shaded pool areas, and a state of the art splash pad. Among it's many amenities are separated swimming pools for appropriate ages, in-pool fountains, shaded pool areas, and a state of the art splash pad. Please note:* Children under the age of 9 must have a chaperone to enter. Max ratio 6:1. Pool & Splash Pad Hours Monday - Saturday 1:00-5:00pm Monday - Thursday 6:00-8:00pm Sunday 2:00-6:00pm Splash Pad only hours (Free) Friday - Saturday 5:00-8:00pm Sunday 6:00-8:00pm subject to change Admission Cost Admission is $5/person. 30-admission punch passes can be purchased for $100. (One punch, per person, per visit) Swim Lessons (levels 1-4) Our two-week long swim lessons, intended for intermediate swimmers, are taught by our experienced staff in a safe and fun environment. Our staff help student understand and master water safety, basic swimming techniques, and basic stroke development. The Center for Disease Control advises that swim lessons can reduce the risk of drowning among young children. Help save a life and enroll your child or someone you know in swimming lessons. Each swim lesson consists of 10, 30-minute sessions and costs $30 per child . Payment due at registration. Each parent-toddler lesson consists of 5, 30-minute sessions and costs $30 per child . Payment due at registration. Peak hour, full-day corporate/event bookings are also available any day after Noon and give you and your organization exclusive access to the facility on the afternoon of your reservation. Bremen has three major park facilities of over 100 acres. Located on Bremen's South East side is the largest park. Sunnyside features the community swimming pool with a large pool, a kiddy's pool, swimming lessons and open swim. Six lighted diamonds includes 2 little leagues, 1 pony league and 1 T-ball league, along with 1 fast pitch, slow pitch and a girls fast pitch diamond. Eight lighted tennis courts and 6 horseshoe pits also lighted. Filling out the very popular park are 2 sand volleyball courts, 5 soccer fields and 2 little league football field. Winter sports include an ice rink and a man-made sledding hill. Sunnyside Park also includes a Community Room and several shelters for reunions and various activities. These shelters are usually rented a year in advance. Thee are also 3 small open shelters that are available on a first come bases. There is over a mile of walking paths winding through the park and encompasses a wetland that is in progress of being developed into a nature area. The crown jewel of Sunnyside is Jane's Park, a children's play ground built entirely by volunteers and donations in honor of Jane Sieg-Stillson. Responsible for 63 square miles of fire protection, the department continually improves the quality of service by being well-equipped, using the latest available technology, and by highly-trained and motivated personel. From fire suppression to our emphasis on fire prevention and Safety education, the department has always worked diligently to meet the changing needs of our community. The department holds an annual fire prevention class for school children, day cares, adults, and senior citizens. The Town of Bremen maintains a Class-4 (Class 4Y in Township) fire insurance rating (also known as the Public Protection Classification), which is determined by a survey conducted by the Insurance Service Office (ISO). The survey includes 3 critical areas: (1) fire alarm handling, which includes the 911 telephone system and dispatch capabilities; (2) available water supply for fire protection and; (3) staffing and firefighting equipment maintained by the fire department. The fire department is funded by the Town of Bremen, German Township Trustee, and an Advisory Board, along with donations from the Bremen Volunteer Fireman's Association, Inc., and from members of the community.
